New Director General of KMG Engineering appointed

Rakhim Uteyev has been appointed Director General – Chairman of the Management Board of LLP KMG Engineering, Kazinform News Agency reports via the press service of KazMunayGas.

Prior to this appointment, Rakhim Uteyev was a director of the company’s branch in Atyrau, and deputy director general for major projects at the KMG Engineering.

Rakhim Uteyev is a graduate of the Satpayev Kazakh Naitonal Technical University majoring in Oil and Gas Geology, and France’s Nancy-Université majoring in Geosciences and Resources. He holds MSc, PhD in Geology.

In different years he worked as a researcher at Henri Poincaré University, Centre for Mineral Resources and Energy (France); science consultant at the Kazakhstan Institute of Oil and Gas JSC; Deputy Director of Science, Research Centre of the Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas LLP; Deputy Director for Geology and Scientific and Technical Support, Research Institute of Production and Drilling Technologies of KazMunayGas LLP.

He also was the Director of the Project Implementation Department at KMG Kashagan B.V. PLC (branch of KMG Kashagan B.V. PLC in Kazakhstan).
