New health minister of Kazakhstan appointed

Kazakhstan has appointed Akmaral Alnazarova as the new health minister, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.

By presidential decree, Akmaral Alnazarova has been named the new health minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Born in Kyzylorda, Alnazarova graduated from the Almaty State Medical Institute, Korkyt ata University, received further training within Kazakhstan and beyond.

In 2001 and 2003, she was the head doctor of the Kyzylorda Regional Children’s Hospital.

From 2003 to 2004, she headed the healthcare department of Kyzylorda region.

Until 2007, Alnazarova served as the head of the regional department of the Committee for сontrol in health services of the Health Ministry.

In 2015 and 2019, she was the head of the health office of Kyzylorda region.

Until 2020, she served as the chairwoman of the Kyzylorda regional branch of Nur Otan Party.
