New plant put on stream in N Kazakhstan

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - The first project of the second five-year plan of the Industrialization Map has been launched in North Kazakhstan region today.

The new complex producing consumer, tubular and metal goods for the needs of housing and public utilities was put on stream during the special launching ceremony attended by governor of the region Yerik Sultanov.

"According to Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev, in order to achieve 6%-economic growth, Kazakhstan should create 10,000 new jobs. With the launch of this complex, we will create new work places," said Mr. Sultanov.

The Treaty establishing the Eurasian Economic Union became effective on January 1, 2015. The EEU opens new horizons and opportunities for the newly-launched complex. It is expected that its products will be sold countrywide and exported to Russia as well.
