New small industrial zone to be constructed in Turkestan rgn
Turkestan region has seen the number of entrepreneurship entities rise by 28 thousand to 213 thousand since the beginning of the year, governor Darkhan Satybaldy said, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
The region has a favorable business climate, as the number of entrepreneurship entities increases each year. Their number has risen by 28 thousand to 213 thousand since the year’s beginning. The SMEs have made products and rendered services worth over KZT1trl since the start of 2023, said Satybaldy during a press conference.
According to him, the entrepreneurship entities have been provided with preferential loans to the tune of KZT21.3bn. The figure is set to rise to KZT40bn next year.
To provide SMEs with necessary infrastructure, the project is being carried out to build a small industrial zone in the area of 30ha in Sauran district. Within the project, it is expected to build 42 industrial buildings with the total area of 66.5 thousand sq.m. in the next three years.
