New Vice President of Kazakhstan Football Federation appointed

A former member of Kazakhstan’s national football team David Loria has been appointed to the position of Vice President of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, Kazinform News Agency cites the KFF.

David Loria is a legendary football player in the history of Kazakhstani football. During his distinguished career, he played for renowned football clubs such as Zhenis, Yesil, Shakhtar, Halmstads, Spartak Nalchik, Astana, Irtysh, Rizespor, Kairat, Karsiyaka, and Ordabasy. He also played a pivotal role in defending the national team of Kazakhstan, participating in 47 matches and setting a new record among national team goalkeepers.

As part of the youth national team, Loria played at the Youth World Cup, which was held in Nigeria in 1999.

Following the conclusion of his professional football career, David Loria assumed managerial roles at the Astana FC, the Football Federation of Astana, and in the Super Bol project.

In 2019-2022, he studied sports management in the UEFA Executive Master for International Players program.

As reported earlier, Kazakhstan has named the new President of the Togyzkumalak Federation of Kazakhstan.
