Newborns and their mothers will be congratulated on March 8 in metropolitan maternity clinics

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - It has become a good tradition in the capital to congratulate children born on holidays. So, as part of the International Women's Day celebration a congratulation campaign will be held for newborns and their mothers on March 8 in obstetric organizations of Astana city, astana.kz reports

"The congratulation campaign will be held in the city maternity clinic and in No 1 and No 2 perinatal centers, where all newborns will get presents including sets for newborn babies and educational textbooks "Kuan sabi", they reported to astana.kz in the agency.

It's worth noting that last year 246 children were born in the 1st week of March in Astana, including 114 girls and 132 boys. Overall more than 18 000 babies were born in the year 2013 in the city.
