News agencies of 5 Turkic nations form joint news platform 'ATNA'
News agencies from five Turkic nations on Monday announced the formation of a joint platform to increase cooperation in news gathering and disseminating accurate information to the public, Anadolu Agency.
The decision to form the Alliance of Turkic News Agencies (ATNA) was made during a meeting in Istanbul of top officials from news agencies in Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
President & CEO of Anadolu Serdar Karagoz, Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) Board Chairman Vugar Aliyev, Kyrgyz National News Agency (Kabar) Director-General Mederbek Shermetaliev, Kazakh news agency Qazcontent's Board Chairman Bekzat Zhussupov, Uzbekistan National News Agency (UZA) Director-General Abdisait Kuchimov signed document to official form the joint media platform.
