News helicopter crashes in Seattle near Space Needle, casualties are expected

SEATTLE. KAZINFORM - A news helicopter has crashed in central Seattle, just blocks from the iconic Space Needle.

News media in the US city report the helicopter belonged to local broadcaster KOMO.

Television footage from the scene shows a destroyed car burning alongside the helicopter wreckage on a Seattle street.

Fire and emergency crews are at the scene and casualties are expected, BBC informs.
