Next year OSCE to decide how to respond new challenges and threats - Kazakh Vice FM
"Next year is very special - the 35th anniversary of the OSCE, 20th anniversary of the Copenhagen document, 65th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. Thus the organization will have to revise the results of work and decide how to react on modern challenges and threats", the Vice Minister said.
He noted that laying emphasis on tolerance Kazakhstan does not intend to neglect other important issues of humanitarian dimension: human rights, democracy, gender equality and etc. "It's no coincidence that Kazakhstan will be a co-sponsor of such a big event as the 20th anniversary of the Copenhagen document", he emphasized.
"One of the main activities in this direction will be holding of a universal conference on tolerance in June-July 2010 in Astana", K. Zhigalov added.
