NGOs activity receiving state social mandate should be transparent - Culture Minister

ASTANA. November 24. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Activity of all nongovernmental organizations, which receive state social mandate, should be transparent. Kazakh Minister of Culture and Information Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed has announced at the plenary session of the IV Civil Forum.

According to him, at present not all NGOs are known to the public and state bodies at the regional level.

"Because of it all should be transparent", the Minister said.

Besides, M.Kul-Mukhammed noted that to work with NGOs should not only the Ministry of Culture and Information. According to him, each department must interact with their part of the nongovernmental sector and render NGOs necessary support, including financial one.
