Nine trapped in coal mine accident in eastern Ukraine
KIEV. May 5. KAZINFORM Nine miners remained trapped underground on Tuesday following a rock slide at a coal mine in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk Region, local media reported; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.

The accident occurred on Monday in the Dzerzhinsk mine, fourteen miners were working at the scene at the time, five of them managed to reach the surface by themselves, the interfax-Ukraine news agency reported.
Local authorities are organizing tense rescue operations, an official said; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
