ASTANA. August 5. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan has not yet found benzapyrene in the Ukrainian confectionery products called Roshen.

This has been reported today by the Kazakh chief medical officer Zhandarbek Bekshin at a briefing in the Service of central communications.

"According to the customs agreement, in case of dangerous goods, the country, a party to the Customs Union, within 24 hours is to provide official information. But without waiting for such information, we have started to check in two cities of Almaty and Astana, where most of these products are distributed, " said Bekshin.

Note: Import of Roshen Confectionery factory products to the territory of the Russian Federation was banned after the detection of violations of the quality and safety of its products.
