No information about Kazakhstan citizens on board of crashed Iranian aircraft - Foreign Ministry
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry is clarifying the presence of Kazakhstan citizens on board of the aircraft crashed yesterday near the airport of Tehran, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nurjan Aytmahanov told Kazinform.
"From the official authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran we have not yet received any information about the passengers of the crashed aircraft. Currently, we are clarifying the presence of Kazakhstan citizens on board of the aircraft. Any further information will be reported", said N.Aytmahanov. As Kazinform previously reported, a passenger aircraft crashed in Tehransar residential area near Tehran's Mehrabad airport, killing at least 45 people, on August 10. According to the latest reports, the crash killed at least 40 people, nine of the passengers survived.
