Kazinform's special correspondent reports from the scene on the real situation. During the visit to the before mentioned region it turned out that along the highway leading from Tashkent to Gazalkent, near the village of Tepa China, new private houses are being constructed.

According to local residents, in May of this year there was a decision made by the public authorities on demolishing the old buildings and constructing the new ones in relation to the state program of upgrading rural territories. Families whose houses went for demolition were granted 6 decares of land and on average USD 40,000.

As the population of China Tepa noted the village is mainly inhabited by the Kazakh people and that was why the 17 demolished houses were owned by the Kazakh families.
