NOC, Prosecutor General’s Office ink memorandum

The National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan and the Prosecutor General’s Office have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document aims at strengthening rule of law in sport, prevention of embezzlement of public funds, and promotion of healthy lifestyle, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Prosecutor General's Office. 

The document was signed by Prosecutor General Berik Assylov and President of the NOC Gennady Golovkin.

“As part of fulfillment of the President’s instructions, together with the authorized agencies, we must address the key problems in professional sport and update legislation in this area,” the Prosecutor General noted.t

The sides agreed on active information interaction, carrying out joint analysis, projects, including popularization of sport in law-enforcement agencies.
