Normandy Quartet negotiating over ten hours
The talks began on Wednesday evening and have not finished by 5.30 a.m. local time on Thursday, thus becoming the lengthiest talks in Putin's career. The summit has been held behind closed doors and only sometimes the leaders were leaving the negotiating room but in a span of few minutes were back there again. The four leaders started the talks in a narrow format but invited members of the delegations to participate in the discussion when it was required, TASS informs. Reporters trying to see and hear as much as possible have been spending the long-hours' talks nearby, eventually sitting down on the stone floor of Independence Palace. The information was scarce as the officials avoided any comments on debate topics and on a probable outcome of the summit as well.
