North Kazakhstan region takes part in V Forum of Women

PETROPAVLOVSK. March 5. KAZINFORM. /Sergey Kuznetsov/ A delegation of the North Kazakhstan region is taking part in the V Forum of Kazakhstan Women in Astana today.

On the threshold of the Forum Akim (Governor) of the region Serik Bilyalov met with the delegation. He noted that the National Commission for Women Affairs and Family-Demographic Policy under the President of Kazakhstan was established 10 years ago. ?I hope you will take active part in this important socio-political event, present our region and share your positive experience in the sphere of gender policy?, the Governor emphasized. He informed that Petropavlovsk was planning to hold a regular sitting of the National Commission in the nearest future. Today the region works on preparation for the session. Mr. Bilyalov also informed the delegation of the region?s preparation for the spring sowing campaign, implementation of the antirecessionary program, development of the industrial sector of economy.
