North Korea to launch long-range rocket in December
PYONGYANG. December 1. KAZINFORM North Korea is to launch a long-range rocket between 10 and 22 December, according to the country's official news agency.

The aim is to launch a satellite, according to the KCNA agency.
The launch would seek to rectify mistakes made during a failed launch in April, the agency said.
The move is likely to increase tensions with North Korea's neighbours, with a presidential election in South Korea scheduled for 19 December.
April's rocket test was seen by many as a banned test of long-range missile technology.
The US, Japan and South Korea said then that it flew only for a short time before breaking up and crashing into waters off the Korean peninsula.
