ASTANA. KAZINFORM -The number of orphans in Kazakhstan reduced by 6000, this has been announced by Minister of Education and Science Aslan Sarinzhipov at a briefing in Central Communications Service.

"Over the last 3 years the number of orphans in Kazakhstan has reduced by 6000. The number of children living in orphanages is going down as well," said A. Sarinzhipov. However, the Minister said that the country's school enrollment has increased by 12.5% and reached 80%. 'School enrollment rates have increased by 12.5% and equals to 80%. That means 80% of children go to pre-school organizations," concluded the head of the Ministry for Education and Science.
