KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ ?Summing up the results of Nur Otan Party?s 10 year activity we can say with confidence that the party succeeded in uniting various groups of population, mobilizing Kazakhstani people to solution of the nationwide tasks. ?Nur Otan? has become a consolidating, responsible, national-democratic organization timely responding to all problems of our society?, President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said at an enlarged session of the Bureau of the Political Council of ?Nur Otan?, Kazinform reports.

Delivering a speech N. Nazarbayev reminded of the history of establishment of the party when against the crisis and unemployment the constructive forces of the republic united in ?Nur Otan? Party. It allowed to follow the chosen course and overcome the difficult years. The Head of the State noted that in 2006 several new parties joined ?Otan?, which ?strengthened the dominating positions of the political party and it was renamed into ?Nur Otan?. The President of Kazakhstan called on the party to work actively in future and remain a creative power in the country. N. Nazarbayev particularly noted those people who were among founders of the party ? Sergey Tereshchenko, Myrzatay Zholdasbekov and others.
