Nur Otan liaison offices received 68 thousand public appeals in 2009

ASTANA. December 29. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ This year Nur Otan community liaison offices have received 67 973 public appeals including 32 006 the written ones; Manager of Nur Otan Party liaison office Darkhanbek Zhandildin has said it at the briefing today.

The results of the liaison office's activity during 2009 in such spheres as the work with public appeals, reception of citizens, mutual interaction with state bodies and public organizations were presented in the course of the briefing.

Heads of state bodies held 14 receptions of citizens at the central office of the Party. Deputies of Mazhilis of the Kazakh Parliament held 73 receptions and received over 763 people. Deputies of different levels held 8 857 receptions and 1 171 Doors Open Days in all regional liaison offices from the beginning of the year.

Representatives of Nur Otan Party liaison offices take an active part in the work of round tables, sessions concerning the issues of interaction with population and human rights. At present there were held 19 receptions of citizens whereas 104 people received legal advice.
