Nur Otan to listen to reports of Government, National Bank, Agency for Financial Supervision

ASTANA. January 8. KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Chairman of the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) reported at the plenary session of the Majilis, Kazinform reports.

The Speaker said that in accordance with the commission of the Head of the State, ?Nur Otan? party should regularly listen to reports of the members of the Government, control over fulfillment of the election platform of the party. ?In this regard ?Nur Otan? Party plans to listen to the reports of the Government, the National Bank and the Agency for Financial Supervision on implementation of the antirecessionary measures on stabilization of the economy and financial sector?, U.Mukhamedzhanov said. The Speaker also noted that it is necessary to pay special attention to ease influence of the world financial crisis on the economy of Kazakhstan and budget savings of all state bodies. ?In this context we should suggest corresponding legislative initiatives, adopt them and using deputative powers participate in the control over compliance of the economy regime. Our main task is creation of qualitative and effective legislative base for achievement of goals, set by President N.Nazarbayev?, the Speaker noted.
