Nursultan Nazarbayev sends a telegram to Emir of Qatar

ASTANA. June 27. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a telegram to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in connection with his new position as the Emir of Qatar, the press service of Akorda informs.

The letter expresses confidence that as a prominent representative of a new generation of leaders of the country Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will be able to apply all his knowledge and desire for the country to achieve new heights and to continue the light path of his father.

"I am convinced that friendly and partnership relations between Kazakhstan and Qatar will not lose their high dynamics, and will be further developed for the benefit of two nations," reads the telegram.

At the end the President wished the Emir of Qatar health and success in state activities, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Qatar.
