Obama?s Administration to support policy of several routes of hydrocarbon transportation: Hougland
ASTANA. January 28. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ ?Obama?s Administration intends to support the policy of having several routes of hydrocarbons transportation?, US Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Kazakhstan Richard Hougland has said today at a briefing, Kazinform reports.
As R.Hougland noted, some of these routes will lay to the North, while others - to the East, South and West.
?It coincides with multi-vector policy of Kazakhstan. I am sure that the Obama Administration follows the policy of availability of alternative routes for hydrocarbons transportation as well. The main reason of it is grate economic profit for all companies that produce the raw materials?, he noted.
The diplomat noted that the support of the Trans-Caspian route will be based on commercial constituent and political influence will not be important here.
