Observatory of Healthcare Human Resources to be established in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. July 28. KAZINFORM The Ministry of Healthcare of Kazakhstan defined the measures on establishment of the Observatory of Healthcare Human Resources, rector of the South-Kazakhstan State Pharmaceutical Academy Bakhytzhan Seksenbayev said in the interview for Pm.kz site.  

"The President gave specific instructions on training of medical and pharmaceutical personnel. In this regard, the measures on establishment of the Observatory of Healthcare Human Resources were defined by the Ministry of Healthcare of Kazakhstan," B. Seksenbayev said. 

Besides, he noted that the mentioned institution was established in order to know the needs in medical and pharmaceutical specialists. 

"This institution will allow to monitor the level of the qualification of healthcare workers which is very important mostly because the system of healthcare undergoes serious dynamic changes every year. It is necessary to improve the level of education of students of medical institutions, colleges and practicing doctors and work on increasing their qualifications," he added. 

He also informed that it was planned to establish two independent test centers which would allow to determine level of knowledge of graduates, students of medical universities to help them confirm their qualifications. 

"Such centers are planned to be established in Astana and Karaganda. Besides, affiliates of these centers will be opened in six medical universities of the country," B.Seksenbayev said.
