Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Journalists Union Seitkazy MATAYEV was born in 1954. He is a graduate of the Kirov Kazakh State University. He has been a member of the Academy of Journalistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2001. During his professional career Matayev worked for several newspapers. He also was the Press Secretary of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan between 1991 and 1993. He also was the Press Secretary of the Prime Minister and the president of the National Press Club. He has been the Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Journalists Union since 2001.

Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Almasadam SATKALIYEV was born in 1970 in Almaty. He graduated from the Kazakh State University. Throughout his career he worked for a number of Kazakhstani companies, including KazTransOil, KEGOC, Samruk-Kazyna National Wealth Fund, and Samruk Energy. He was appointed to his recent post in April 2023.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Georgia Malik MURZALIN was born in 1971 in Aktobe. He graduated from the Russian and American universities. During his diplomatic career he served at the Kazakh embassy in Russia and worked for JSC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, President’s Executive Office. He was designated to his recent post since December 2022.

Chief of the general department of the President’s Executive Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurdaulet TOLEYEV was born in 1984. He is a graduate of the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University and the Public Administration Academy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Prior to taking up his recent post in July 2019, he was the chief of the chancery of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for two years.

Kazakhstani chess player, International Master, Woman Grandmaster, the only 4-time world champion Dinara SADUAKASSOVA was born in Akmola. She learnt how to play chess at the age of 5. But it wasn’t until she turned 12 that she started to realize her passion for chess was serious. In 2012 she earned the Woman Grand Master title.
