Oil companies to support Mangistau region’s producers
Governor of Mangistau region Nurdaulet Kilybay has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the region’s major oil companies on support of local agricultural producers, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The goal of the memorandum is to support regional cattle breeders and vegetable growing companies in sale of their products.
Those signing the document were JSC NC KazMunayGas, representative office of JSC NC KazMunayGas in Aktau, JSC MangistauMunayGas, and JSC Karazhanbasmunaygas.
These companies employ a total of 37,000 people.
“I invite major companies to contribute to the development of our region. I believe the agreement will be beneficial for both sides. Our producers need to regularly supply ecologically clean products. And the workers of these companies will be provided with high-quality local products,” Nurdaulet Kilybay said.
