Oil prices forecast at 40 dollars per barrel in 2009 ? Kazakh Economy Minister
ASTANA. March 24. KAZINFORM. /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ According to the specified macroeconomic budget parameters, crude oil prices were forecast at the level of 40 dollars per barrel in 2009 - Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Bakhyt Sultanov announced at the Government?s session.
The Minister presented the amended forecast of socioeconomic development for 2009-2013, a draft law on amendments to the 2010-2011 Republican Budget Law and the President?s Decree "On Targeted Transfer from the National Fund in 2009-2010".
In 2010-2013 the crude prices will be at the level of 50 dollars per barrel. ?World prices for metals in 2009 are expected to decrease approximately by 30-40% with subsequent increase by 8-10% in average in 2010-2013?, B. Sultanov said.
