Olga Rypakova won Olympic license to Rio de Janeiro

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani athlete Olga Rypakova won the bronze medal at the second stage of the Diamond League in Shanghai. This medal ensures the Olympic medal to Rio de Janeiro for the Kazakhstani athlete.

The upcoming Olympic Games will be the third in Olga's career. She participated in the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and she won the gold medal at the Olympic Games in London.

"Standing on podiums at international tournaments the talented Kazakhstani athlete glorifies Kazakhstan and the Armed Forces of the country which she is a part of. These victories inspire the youth to go in for sports," the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan reads.
