Olympic Council of Asia familirized with Kazakhstan's preparation for Aziada 2011

ASTANA. October 26. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ A delegation of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) accomplished its work on surveying the construction process of facilities of the VII Asian Winter Games in Astana.

On Tuesday in Astana the OCA representatives together with the Kazakh executives visited construction site of sports facilities of the Asian Games and took positive view on Kazakhstan and its preparedness to the Games, complimenting the timeliness of preparation to the sport event.

The delegation of the Olympic Council familiarized with the construction progress of the training stadium in the Palace of Sport "Kazakhstan", new Skating rink, visited "Astana - Arena" stadium and republican cycle track.

Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia Timothy Fok appreciated the conducted work and expressed hope that Kazakhstan would have time to test the facilities within the targeted time frame.
