Olympic Games preparations headquarters starts its work in Astana

The Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympics and Paris Olympic Games 2024 preparation headquarters opened on January 4 at the Kazakh Tourism and Sports Ministry, Kazinform News Agency cites its press service.

On December 13, 2023 a decree on the establishment of the headquarters for the organization of preparations of national teams of Kazakhstan for the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympics and Paris Olympic Games 2024.

The headquarters is an authorised authority to coordinate the work of the Kazakh Tourism and Sports Ministry, National Olympic Committee and sports federations. One of its tasks is to ensure preparations for the forthcoming international competitions.

Winners and runners-ups of Olympic Games, world championships and international competitions, sports journalists took part in the event.

He added large-scale preparations for the V World Nomad Games started last year.

The Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympics will be held on January 19-February 1 this year in South Korea. Paris will host the XXXIII Olympic Summer Games between July 26 and August 11, the Paralympic Games on August 28 and September 8.
