Ombudsman of Kazakhstan holds talks with head of OSCE observers

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today Commissioner for Human Rights in Kazakhstan Askar Shakirov has met with the head of the observation mission under the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Cornelia Jonker, according to the press service of the Ombudsman for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the issues related to the upcoming early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ensuring a transparent and competitive electoral process. Ombudsman of Kazakhstan informed about the work being done in the area of constitutional rights of citizens to vote and to be elected.
