Omsk region of Russia interested in coop with Kazakhstan

MOSCOW-OMSK. February 10. KAZINFORM /Arnur Rakhymbekov/ Omsk region is interested in export of chips from Kazakhstan. Volumes of supplies can amount to 500 thousand tons this year. It was discussed at the session of Deputy Chairman of the Government of Omsk region Yevgeniya Vdovina with participation of heads of enterprises of read and construction industry of the region and representatives of North Kazakhstan region.

The chip is delivered to the region from Ural, Altai Territory and Novosibirsk region. The price for the product increased essentially in 2008. 40% of the price takes transportation expenses. Considering good quality of the chip from North Kazakhstan region, Russian builders were interested in buying of the material from Kazakh partners. ?A working group of reps of interested sides will be established. They will discuss all points of bilateral cooperation?, Y.Vdovin said. It is necessary to negotiate the price issues, work out mechanism of completion of customs documents, etc. The Kazakh Council in Omsk region proposed the heads of the regions to address to the Governments of Russia and Kazakhstan on the issue of expediency of customs duties? simplification for this product range.
