One of the most quality and comfortable districts to be built in Astana as part of EXPO-2017
According to him, the village built as part of EXPO-2017 exhibition will become one of the most high-quality and convenient districts in Astana.
"There will be a lot of housing: 500 000 sqm before EXPO, and 500 000after the exhibition. The main peculiarity is that these houses will be built according to all principles of sustainable development and "green" technologies. They will be energy-efficient, i.e. all utility service bills for residents will be minimal, and the quality of construction will satisfy all international standards", said Mr. Kapparov.
According to him, there will be hotels, fitness centers, shops, schools and kindergartens in the village, Kazinform refers to astana.kz.
Along with that he notes, that EXPO sites won't be demolished after the exhibition; on the contrary, they will become the city sights working for the country's economy.
"There will not be any abandoned sites, all of them will be used for the needs of Astana residents. After that there will be an exhibition, i.e. people will come to see this village like an architectural wonder", the minister noted.
As Is reported at the briefing in the Central communications service, currently geological survey works are in progress at the site. Construction will supposedly start in May 2014, and first of all they will install the main site of the exposition complex - pavilion "Kazakhstan. Astana" with a diameter of 80 meters.
Recall, that on February 28 the Head of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev approved the Concept of the architectural complex EXPO-2017. In addition, last week the general layout and main architectural solutions of the International specialized exhibition sites were presented to Government members, as well as to the metropolitan Akimat, all municipal services, including the Department of Internal Affairs and Department of Emergency Situations of Astana city.
