One Planet NGO to assist in elimination of nuclear weapons

ASTANA. September 25. KAZINFORM - To the name of the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev there has been addressed a letter from the president of the media holding «Uniao Planetaria», director general of TV channel «TV Supren» Ulysses Riedelya, the press -service of the President says.

In his letter Mr.Riedel, who is also the head of the NGO named "One Planet ", informs of his participation in the ceremony named 'a moment of silence' in memory of the victims of nuclear testing in the world, which was organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil August 29, 2013.

"In this regard, let me sincerely congratulate you on the successful work of" Project ATOM ", as well as the efforts that have focused on the complete cessation of nuclear weapons testing in your country," the statement reads.

The author also ponits at particular importance of conducting such campaigns aimed at achieving nuclear disarmament. Mr.Riedel emphasizes that through strengthening of the unity of states, nations and races there will be a model of civilization, peace, brotherhood and cooperation.

At the end Mr.Riedel assured the Kazakh leader on readiness of the association "One Planet " to participate fully in the dissemination of information and other help in elimination of nuclear weapons worldwide.
