Ongoing Japanese projects and programs in Mongolia to be presented

Mongolia-Japan Business Forum will take place in Ulaanbaatar on August 19, 2024. With around 150 business representatives from Japan and 200 from Mongolia, the Business Forum discussions will focus on the information, communication, and innovation sectors, also covering the food, light industry, and tourism sectors, Montsame reports.

At the Business Forum, programs and projects being implemented in Mongolia by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be presented, while the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry will introduce studies on the business environment of Mongolia and the current state of export and import between Mongolia and Japan.

The organizers of the Forum informed that the Kaizen Community of Mongolia will present the kaizen movement of Mongolian companies. Honorary guests invited to the Forum include officials from the Government of Mongolia, the Governor of the Capital City of Mongolia Nyambaatar Khishgee, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Igawahara Masaru.

The Mongolia-Japan Business Forum is a major event in the business partnership between the two countries and is jointly organized by the public and private organizations of Mongolia and Japan, including the Innovation HUB of Mongolia, the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Office in Mongolia, the Japanese University Graduate Association of Mongolia, and the Kaizen Association of Mongolia.
