Orthodox Church congratulates Kazakhstanis on Nauryz holiday

ASTANA. March 19. KAZINFORM On behalf of the Orthodox Church dean of the Holy Dormition Cathedral in Astana Dmitry Baidek has congratulated the Kazakhstanis on Nauryz meiramy.

Father Dmitry noted that Nauryz should be seen as a nationwide holiday, a holiday of unification and solidarity of the peoples of different religions and nationalities.

"Nauryz is not a holy tide, but it does not prevent us from sharing the joys. The Church is not an isolated society. We all live in peace, we have neighbors of different nationalities, confessions, and, thank God, there are no conflicts," he said.

"We congratulate our Muslim neighbors on this holiday. I wish all love, wisdom, prosperity and simple human happiness," he said.
