OSCE Center in Kazakhstan marks 10th anniversary

ASTANA. March 28. KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakh Academy of Public Administration has held a meeting timed to the 10th anniversary of the OSCE Center in Kazakhstan.

Parliament deputies, members of the Government, representatives of the diplomatic corps and public organizations took part in the event. Kazakh Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Konstantin Zhigalov congratuled head of the OSCE Center Alexander Kelchevsky and staff on the jubilee. He noted that the Center?s close cooperation with the Kazakh state bodies and civil society contributed to the fulfillment of the OSCE commitments and promotion of its standards in our country. The presentation of two OSCE fundamental documents ? the Helsinki Final Act and the Charter of Paris for a New Europe, translated into Kazakh, was held within the meeting. The guests were also shown a documentary ?OSCE in the Center of Eurasia?.
