OSCE civil society takes active interest in human dimension issues: M. Jarbussynova

ASTANA. November 28. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ As earlier reported, the OSCE Civil Society Forum takes place in Astana today.

Over 120 representatives of non-governmental organizations from the OSCE member states take part in the conference.

According to Kazakh Foreign Ministry's Ambassador at Large for Human Rights Madina Jarbussynova, the conference will contribute to the improvement of mechanism of implementation of the OSCE human dimension commitments.

"I appreciate that the civil society of the OSCE countries take an active interest in the human dimension issues, in particular, promotion and protection of human rights and freedoms as well as development of the democratic institutions and principles", she said.
