OSCE member states to change format of assistance to Kyrgyzstan
VIENNA. November 19. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ The OSCE member states will change the format of rendering help to law-enforcement bodies of Kyrgyzstan. This decision was made at the session of the OSCE Permanent Council on the results of joint consultations between the OSCE police experts and the Kyrgyz Government held on Thursday.
The new format provides longer-term assistance to the Kyrgyz side within the frameworks of the Civil Security Initiative project and the OSCE Program on reformation of the Kyrgyz law-enforcement bodies designed for seven years.
The foreign experts will conduct their work at the national and local levels in close cooperation with the state competent bodies of Kyrgyzstan on such directions as security of vulnerable levels of society, supremacy of law and human rights.
