OSCE PA Deputy Chairman A. Kozlovsky: Holding Summit in Astana - great contribution of Kazakhstan's chairmanship to OSCE strengthening

ASTANA. November 30. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Holding the OSCE Summit in Astana is a great contribution of Kazakhstan's chairmanship to strengthening the Organization. Deputy Chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexander Kozlovsky said it answering the journalists' question within the session of the OSCE PA Bureau held at the Palace of Independence in Astana today.

"Undoubtedly, the Summit has become a historical event. First, this is a bright idea of Kazakhstan's presidency in the OSCE which is notable for lost of interesting and important events and ideas. I am serving the second term in the Russian Duma. For the first time we have got acquainted with the OSCE Chairperson, his deputies. In each commission we met well-educated Kazakh people with excellent knowledge of foreign languages. The Summit in Astana is an achievement of paramount importance", A. Kozlovsky said.

According to him, the decision of the OSCE heads of state to meet in Astana is a great achievement itself. As for the situation in Kyrgyzstan which is included in the agenda of the OSCE PA Bureau, A. Kozlovsky noted that the main problem of this country was disintegration of the Kyrgyz society.
