OSCE PA ex-Chairman Soares urges Portuguese businessmen enter Kazakh market

ASTANA. December 7. KAZINFORM First Kazakh-Portuguese business seminar was organized by the Kazakh Embassy in Lisbon, JSC "Kaznex Invest" and Industrial Association of Portugal on the threshold of the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence on December 5; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA's press service.

Kazakh Ambassador Nurlan Danenov delivered a speech on the most important socio-economic achievements of Kazakhstan for 20 years. He called on the Portuguese companies to participate in Kazakhstan's industrial innovative projects.

Leadership of the Portuguese Industrial Association and Portuguese Agency for Foreign Trade and Investment expressed interest in establishing long-term relations between business circles of Kazakhstan and Portugal. They proposed to expand and diversify bilateral trade.

Joao Soares, member of the National Assembly of Portugal, former Chairman of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly praised Kazakhstan's political and economic achievements during the years of independence under the leadership of Nursultan Nazarbayev. He urged Portuguese businessmen to enter the Kazakhstan's market.
