OSCE Summit in Astana to demonstrate that Kazakhstan becomes world's growing and influential power - C.Veldkamp

HAGUE. November 25. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ The OSCE Summit in Astana will demonstrate that Kazakhstan becomes world's growing and influential power. Caspar Veldkamp, Director South East and Eastern Europe in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands told it in the interview to a Kazinform correspondent during conference "Ethno-religious pluralism and problems of integration" held in Hague on November 24.

The representative of the Foreign Ministry of the Netherlands expressed assurance that the coming Summit would open a new page of international cooperation development between the Organization member states. He noted that the meeting of Heads of State and Government of the OSCE in Astana would provide the representatives of many countries including the Western ones with an opportunity to understand more clearly what Kazakhstan and its politics represented.

"Unfortunately, people of many west countries still don't know Kazakhstan and where it is located. However, representatives of business communities are well-acquainted with this country. The Summit will demonstrate that we have business and trade relations with this country as well as the fact that Kazakhstan is growing and influential world power. I am glad that our Prime Minister plans to take part in this event", C. Veldkamp said.
