OUR CONTEMPORARIES: Love of work and honesty are the critical success factors, entrepreneur Victoria Gref
She is from those who hold the position: where one was born there he (she) proves useful. Under trying times Victoria had the opportunity to go to Germany, but she decided to stay with her husband in her homeland and arrange their lives here.
She graduated from high school in Kievka village. After it she entered the cultural and educational school and got trained as a stage manager of large performances. But that was a crucial time, and one had to choose where to realize the potential.
"Entrepreneurship was coming forward. We managed to buy a shop in the place we lived. Starting from scratch. I was pregnant when the shop was being opened, and then gave birth to a child. I was working with the baby in the hands," says Ms. Gref.
Now she is possessing five trading units. In the village she started mini-pizza.
"We are planning to start producing. A month ago we bought a plot of land for the construction of the building. While I will not say exactly what our plans are, to touch wood, " said the businesswoman.
Favorable conditions have been created in Kazakhstan for business development, she said. "Of course, it is much easier to do business these days. In tax institutions we don's almost appear. All reports can be taken via the Internet sitting at home. And the fact that there is regular moratorium on checking does also makes business easier", said the representative of a small business.
Aware of her social responsibility the entrepreneur has been involved in charity work helping the poor and disabled children.
According to Victoria the main factor of success is honesty. "With the people you have to be good, honest, and you will have good attitude, and there will be success. And, of course, treat work with love ", says the businesswoman.
She appreciates the people she works with, the people she can rely on. Besides, her family supports her. Her husband is doing business too; he is engaged in cargo transportation. They have two sons: the eldest is 18, and the youngest son is 13. "The family is still in the first place. What does a woman need to be happy? Love, peace in the family, comfort, and care, " says Victoria.
Akim of Karaganda region Baurzhan Abdishev when congratulating the women said that nothing was out of women's depth. "March 8 is of particular importance not only for you but for us, men. Because on this day we become aware of how uncomfortable the world would be if a woman does not equip it with her loving hands, "said the head of the region.
In Karaganda region the women make over 700 thousand, or 53% of the total population.
According to the Department of Statistics, there are more than 150 thousand women employed in the region's enterprises. In education - 43 thousand (28.2% of all employed women), in healthcare 26 thousand (17%) women.
Management positions are occupied by 470 women. Among them there is one regional akim, 17 akims of villages and rural districts. However, there are 8 deputy akims (mayors) of towns and regions, 4 heads of the regional and territorial departments of the central government, 22 deputy heads of the regional and territorial departments, and 79 heads of independent departments of towns and regions.
Proportion of women scientists is high. Among them are 58 Doctors, 598 Candidates of sciences, 33 Professors and 245 Assistant Professors.
There are 17 870 mothers with many children awarded "Altyn Alka" (gold medal) and " Kumis Alka " (silver medal).
