ASTANA. May 7. KAZINFORM "Our task is to create compact, formidable army ready to respond to any attempts to violate our borders, safeguard our independence and defend peace," President Nursultan Nazarbayev said awarding some Kazakhstanis on the occasion of the Defender of the Motherland Day.

"You should sharpen your skills, be ready to fulfill any order of the country," Nursultan Nazarbayev said addressing those gathered.
