Over 10, 000 job openings in Atyrau oblast due to Road Map program

RAU.  August 14. KAZINFORM  /Andrey Sokolov/ 46 investment projects are being realized in Atyrau oblast within the Road Map program which ensured 10, 148 new jobs in the region, according to akim of the region Bergey Ryskaliev.

One of the projects is expansion of the Atyrau Heating Plant where assembly of a new turbine with capacity of 25 MW is to be completed. Three new turbines more are planned to be installed at the plant in 2009-2011. As a result the entire region will gain energy independence.

Another large investment project is reconstruction of an oil refinery. Once accomplished, the oil processing output will increase from the current 4 mln tons up to 5 mln tons. The project will also allow to organize production of high-quality petroleum and fuel oil.
Large road construction projects and installation of new gas supply and water supply lines are also underway in the region.
