Over 11 mln people enumerated: Kazakh Statistics Agency

ASTANA. March 3. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ ?11 163 589 people were enumerated in the republic for today?, press secretary of the Kazakh Statistics Agency Dinara Zhandayeva has said today at the briefing, Kazinform reports.

As she noted, over 71% of population was recorded in the republic during the census. Some districts recorded more people than the estimated population. Kachirsky and Munailinsky districts of Pavlodar region are among such districts. Good rates of census can be observed in Karaganda, Mangystau, Kyzylorda regions. ?Megapolises show good tempus as well. In particular, 878 328 people were recorded in Almaty and 415 606 ? in Astana?, the press secretary noted.
