Over 2.5 thousand jobs created in chemical industry during 1st five-year phase of industrialization
In total, over 2.5 thousand jobs were created in the chemical industry in a five years span, the press service of the Ministry of Investments and Development of Kazakhstan informs.
Presently, around 410 enterprises of chemical industry are functioning in the country. 371 of them are small, 26 are medium-sized and 13 are considered as big companies. Mainly, they produce basic chemical products, mineral fertilizers, lacquers, paints and washing agents, pesticides and agrochemical products.
100139 tons of phosphor was produced in Kazakhstan as a result of 2014.
Besides, the country produced 19543 tons of chlorine, 2277720 tons of sulphuric acid, 32943 tons of chromic oxide, 29479 tons of sodium hydroxide, 282848 tons of nitrogen fertilizers, 82424 tons of phosphor fertilizers, 6739 tons of washing agents and 67913 tons of pants and lacquers.
The main volume of productions launched in this sphere fall at Zhambyl region - 23.7%, Aktobe region - 13.3%, Mangystau region - 10.2%, Karaganda region - 14.3%, East Kazakhstan region - 10.8% and Pavlodar regions - 6.7.
