Over 200 non-governmental organizations registered in N-Kazakhstan Oblast

PETROPAVLOVSK. August 26. KAZINFORM /Sergey Kuznetsov/ The non-governmental organizations are aimed to be some kind of 'bridge' between the authority and population; Mayor of North-Kazakhstan Oblast Serik Bilyalov has said today at the regional Civil Forum in Petropavlovsk.

According to him over 200 non-governmental organizations on 13 directions were registered in the region.

Coordination over the activity of non-governmental organizations is held by the council on cooperation and interaction with NGOs under the regional akimat. The council comprises heads of regional administration, non-governmental organizations having experience in social projects.

The most active NGOs were awarded with diplomas. Following the results of the regional forum recommendations and proposals will be developed for the IV National Civil Forum scheduled in October.
