Over 23 thousand people to take part in Olympic day in Kazakhstan

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - The Olympic day events will be held in Kazakhstan on May 23. The main purpose of the event is to popularize the mass sports and healthy lifestyle, director of the public foundation "Directorate of international sports projects of Almaty" Ilya Urazakov told at the press conference today.

"Sports events with the participation of a lot of people will begin in all cities and towns of the country at 8 o'clock in the morning. Every region has its own program. In accordance with our information, over 23 thousand people will take part in the events held all around the country," I. Urazakov said.

According to him, concerts will be held at the places of all sports events. Thus, the cultural part of the event is going to be ensured as well.
